Are you looking for the best flight simulator? Well hold off on Microsoft's flight sim. They may be the oldest but they are by far no where near the best. I admit I have played ms flight sim for years, but I didn't think there was anything else better. I just happened to stumble across an advertisement for another flight sim, and thought to myself could this be better than Microsoft's.
After seeing this new sim, I thought I would search around and see what other type of simulators are out there. I came across a few free ones, but honestly they were horrid. I found a couple of online flight sims, but they were no better. So I continued my journey for the best flight simulator. I went back to the site where I had found the advertisement for a simulator called Flight Sim Pro.
They didn't have a demo so this made me just a little apprehensive, but they had plenty of videos and pics that showed how real the game is. It looked good and I mean real good. I bought it and found out it has over 300 planes, 20,000 airports, and even realistic scenery. It has all different kinds of weather from rain to hail.
So far this was the best flight simulator I have ever found, but was it realistic enough? I played and played and got so absorbed into it, I lost total track of time. I also noticed when coming in from scary landings and having a few close calls in the air, this game was actually making me jump out of my seat. MS flight sim had never done that to me before.
