Download Free Public Domain EBooks

Public domain eBooks are free to download. I will show you where you can download free public domain eBooks and what you can do with the media once downloaded. An example is to sell them on eBay.
The word 'public domain' means that a book is copyright free so it is free for all to use. All classic eBooks published before 1923 are in the public domain in the United States and in most other countries as well. Although this may vary. For example, in the United Kingdom a book enters public domain 70 years after the death of the author.
The best website to download free classic eBooks is project Gutenberg. At Project Gutenberg you can download from thousands of classics including well known authors such as Charles Dickens, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, HG Wells, Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Mark Twain, Leo Tolstoy, Charlotte Bronte, Lewis Carroll and much much more.
Also, once you have downloaded one of the eBooks you can do anything you like with it. This includes selling it on for profit! Many people are selling classic fiction eBooks on eBay. On eBay they list big compilations of classic fiction eBooks. People are willing to pay for these compilations on eBay because it saves them the time and effort required to download the content themselves.
Project Gutenberg has each eBook available in a variety of formats including HTML, text, mobi for kindle, and epub for the Sony reader. You can also find a few classic fiction audiobooks there as well.
