Through my own personal experience, I have found that the quest to make money online is, quite frankly, a daunting task to say the least. Over a period of about eight months I searched the vast sea of internet scams and schemes trying to find a legitimate source to supplement my income via the internet. The good news is that there are legitimate ways to earn money online.
Buyer beware is the rule of thumb. There are thousand of get rich quick scams on the internet that promise that you can make thousands a day without even sitting at your computer. You go to these sites and after spending an hour listening to and watching videos of people who have gone from almost living in a cardboard box to multi-million dollar homes in Boca Raton, they hit you with the "for a small investment of only..." line. Of course this person is bringing hundreds of thousands of dollars. They are preying upon the trusting and poorly informed to send them hundreds of dollars for e-books, manuals, and worthless computer programs that aren't worth the materials they are printed on.
To find a job on the internet is really no different than finding a job in the real world. There are companies that hire workers from home to do everything from web design to customer service. Many companies see this as a way to save on their bottom line. They receive the services they need and don't have the cost of providing health and dental insurance or offering profit sharing and 401k plans.
My first bit of advice is to be patient and vigilant in your research to find the right venue for your skills. Know that nine times out of ten if a company is promising you big money online and wealth building in thirty days, IT IS A SCAM! You do not have to pay money to make money online. Now, I am not saying that all of these sites are scams but it is the norm and not the exception. You want to go with a company that will ask for no upfront fees and advises you to set up an account or profile with them and set up a PayPal account for your earning to be deposited in. Many online careers services are registered with the BBB and other recognized internet watchdog groups. They will usually be posted at the bottom of the site.
I am still new to this world of making money from online and I offer you the lessons of my own past mistakes. I cannot stress to you enough to do your research. It will take some time to navigate through the frauds but, it is far less painful to spend your time protecting yourself than wasting your money to fall victim. There are opportunities to make money online. I suggest you conduct searches such as, "legitimate jobs online", "virtual employment", and "online assistant". Your search may yield a hundred thousand sites and you need to narrow from there.
