Explode Your Network Marketing Business

Asking for referrals is an overlooked and sometimes feared MLM prospecting technique. However, if you really focus on mastering this tactic, you will explode your Network Marketing Business by greatly increasing the amount of people you enroll on to your team.
Getting Referrals is definitely one of the best ways to build your team very quickly. There are a few categories of people you should be asking for referrals. There are people who join your company to buy the products only and don't want to pursue a Network Marketing business. I have found that they are usually more than glad to refer people to me. I would say that 25% of the people I enrolled into my business last year were from my current "product-only" team members.
There is a second category of people, your current prospects, who are also a great source of referrals. Many of your prospects may not end up joining your business but they may know someone who is interested!
The only way to get referrals is to ask for referrals! If you don't ask, you will not get the referral in most cases. There are those, who out of the blue, may send a referral your way but the bulk of referrals is going to have to originate with you asking for them. You need to make this a priority in your business.
There are usually two reasons that someone would join your Network Marketing Business. There are those who want the products only and there are those who want to start their own MLM business. Be sure to ask every person you have enrolled if they know of others your products would help or if they know of someone who needs another stream of income!
A good candidate to ask would be someone you have enrolled and is happy with the products. If you follow up with them on a regular basis, which you should be doing, you will get a sense if they are happy with their products. This is the time to ask them, who do they know, who would like to experience the same things they are with the products! You should be asking them who they know, who needs extra income as well. Asking these two things of every new and existing product user will yield you many extra enrollments each year.
Another candidate to be sure to always ask for MLM referrals from is your prospects! When you are establishing a good working relationship with your prospects and they would like to join the business, this is the time to ask them who else they would like to share these great products and/or business with.
If the prospect turns down the opportunity to join your team, you still need to ask for referrals! You would be surprised at the number of people who have contacted me, telling me they had been told about me and my company from a former prospect who never joined my business! If you are professional and helpful to your prospects, you will be remembered and people will refer others to you because they had a good experience with you!
Don't be afraid to ask for referrals because if you do this consistently with everyone, it will be a great source of wonderful prospects. If you are afraid to bother people by asking them for additional business, put yourself in their shoes. If you had a good business experience with someone who went out of their way to help me, would you refer someone to them? I would say yes to that question. As an added bonus, if someone is referring someone to you, these prospect referrals know they can trust you and it will be much easier to enroll them! This may sound corny but it is true, referrals rock!!
